Mike Evans was born in Rockwood, Tennessee. He graduated from Tennessee Technological University with a Bachelor of Science in Business Managment. He is a member of Sigma Alpha Ephsilon fraternity. After graduating, Mike and Debbie relocated to Atlanta, Georgia where Mike was employed by Congoleum as a sales representative. In 1974, he received Salesman of the Year with Congoleum. In 1975, Mike and Debbie relocated to Virginia Beach. Mike was employed by Woody's Distrubutors as the regional sales manager for the Tidewater area. After many years of success with Woody's, Mike decided to start his own company. In February of 1984, Mike opened the doors of Dominion Contract Carpets. Debbie came on board in 1986 full time. Mike and Debbie have two children, Clint and Kelly. Clint has been on board since 1997 and Kelly since 2000. It is truely a family tradition! All of our employees are like family.
